How Serious Is Passing Of Blood In Urine?

Hi, My name is janet..for several years now I have been told that i always have blood in my urine, each dr says that if it happens again they will do further testing..but they never do .and i have explained to them that at least 6 or 7 drs have told me the same thing..now i have went through menapause but recently have started bleeding..it's been 3 days now and i'm worried because my mother passed away with cervical cancer..should or could this be a serious issue ?
