How Serious Is Salmonella Infection In A 2 Year Old?
Dear Doctor, I am a Grandmother and wish to ask questions concerning my 2 year old granddaughter. I am extremely concerned as she has just been diagnosed with Salmonella. She has very responsible parents and is has a further appointment with a specialist today. She may need admission to hospital. I would like to know how serious this is in regard to recovery, and if there are any long term complications. I guess I just need some reassurance. Hope you can help me .. kind regards Jill Dobie

Salmonella infection can be managed on out door level in very serious condition hospitalization needed and there it may get fast recovery without any complication, and this is nothing to worry, take care.
