How Should Levothyroxine Be Taken While On Losartan, Clopidogrel And Simvastatin?
Hello, I am a female aged 68 and have taken levothyroxine since 1997. I now also take Losartan, Clopidogrel and Simvastatin the latter two since a TIA in Feb 2016. I take the first 3 tablets first thing on empty stomach with water and then have breakfast. A friend who has just started on Levothyroxine has been told to take 30 mins before eating but I have never had this advice, and am a little concerned. A recent full blood test shows everything as showing normal.

Levothyroxine should be taken first thing in the morning on empty stomach. Eat breakfast only after 30 minutes following levothyroxine. You can take Losartan and Clopidogrel after having breakfast. It is ideal to take simvastatin with evening meals.
