Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Doctor had prescribed me Nikoron 10mg. The time of drug to be taken at 14hrs. In the container it is mentioned that the drug should be kept in the temperature 2 to 4 digrees. Now the problem is that I am a service holder and no refrigerator is available in the office. Therefore whether can I take the drug in the evening of morning? Whether it is necessary to kept the drug in the specified temperature? Thank you, Yours Bishnu Kumar Shrestha.
Dear patient, Thanks for contacting HCM I believe you are taking Nikoran 10 mg which is trade name for drug Nicorandil. Nicorandil is drug used for treatment of angina (sensation of chest pain, pressure, or squeezing, often due to decrease blood supply to the heart muscle from obstruction or spasm of the coronary blood vessels (they supply blood to heart)). They are to be stored at room temperature and there is no need to store them at 2 to 4 degree. If you are not receiving Nikoran please write back and inform us. I hope this has helped you Regards
