How Should Norethisterone Be Taken During Periods?

Hi I started taking norethisterone last Friday as soon as my period began, wanted to stop it as going on holiday tomorrow but it s not stopped it, only made it lighter. Should I continue taking them or stop? If I stop now will my period finish as normal on day 7 or will it continue?

Hi I have gone through your question and will like to tell you when you need to postpone your periods you should take norethistrone ten days prior to your expected date of bleeding and not after your periods start. Taking it in a wrong manner may cause hormonal imbalance in your body. Now that you have already started taking it continue it till you are back from your holidays. cause stopping it now may lead to withdrawal bleeding. Next time you want to take any hormonal pills I would suggest you to please consult your physician as taking it in a wrong manner may cause serious health issues. Hope that answers your question. If you have any questions please feel free to write. Wishing you good health.
