How Should Suprep Bowel Prep Kit Be Used Before A Colonoscopy?
HI. Am preparing for colonoscopy tomorrow.....drank 16 oz of suprep bowel prep. Drank 16 oz of water within the hour after. I didn t read the directions properly and only drank 16 oz of water. Only had 1 bowel movement after 2.5 hours, so I retread directions. Was supossed to drink (2) 16 oz glasses of water within the hour. I immediately drank the other 16 oz, but again it was 2.5 hours later. Will this prep not work now.

To see the inside of the colon well, it should be free from feces. Sufficient water has to be drunk for the osmotic purgative to work. If you have a number of motions to clear the large intestine, it is ok. If not you need to drink more water till you purge out well.
