How Should Susten 400 Be Used?

Hi dr..I m 25 wk pregnant.Because of previous history of preterm delivery my gynae Prescribe me to use susten 400 vaginally at bed time.how deep should I put it vaginally? how long should I lay down on bed after putting it?can I pass urine after using it?plz halp

Understand your concern
Susten contain progesterone hormone so it helps in maintain healthy pregnancy and prevent miscarriage. It is soft gel capsule should be put in the vagina without the opening.
Should be put high in the vaginas much as finger go inside the vaginal tract with proper pelvic hygiene.
It should be put at the bed time. It should be remain in for the 4-6 hour so better absorption will take place. So first go for urination and at bed time you can put. Avoid urination after putting tablet.
Regular follow up to gynecologist should be advisable.
