How Should Abdominal Pain And Radiating Pain At The Navel After Taking Crestor Be Treated?
Hi, I am a 45-year-old female and started taking Crestor about a week ago. The last 2 days I have had pretty significant abdominal pain, at my belly button area and kind of radiates left and right! Anyway, I m wondering if it is a side effect of the medication or something else.
It does not sound like a side effect. If the pain does not subside I suggest you see your doctor for a physical examination. If you vomit, do not pass stools or experience that your abdomen is more distended than usual, you should seek emergency care.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
