How Should Recurrent Cough With Phlegm Be Treated When Diagnosed With Nephrotic Syndrome?
Hi doctor, My son was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome and under medication having Omnacortil 9ml in 2 days. Earlier to that he was suffering with heavy cough and phlegm. For that he was given Budocort along with Asthalin puffs. But due to nephrotic syndrome medication for cough was stopped. Now cough recurred with phlegm again. Now can we give budocort while omnacortil forte is under mediaction.
In my opinion, you can safely give Budecort puffs to your son, for cough, while on Omnacortil. There seems no incompatibility between these two. However, dosage of Omnacortil as well as daily frequency of Budecort puff is to be decided by your doctor and treatment done under his guidance.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
