How Should Severe Back Pain With Discomfort Be Treated?
Hi, I have severe back pain that started two years ago and has gotten worse in the last year. I had a surfing accident last year where I face planted in the water and my legs went backwards over my head (like a scorpion) The pain has gone from just lower back to now all over nearly and sometimes il get very sharp stabbing pains that will stop me from walking for a few minutes. It s hurts a lot to bend backwards, even slightly It s uncomfortable to stand, lay down and walk . I ve had x rays and it s shown nothing Please help me, I m only young and I want to solve this problem
hello welcome to hcm the pain you are suffering from is certainly from a condition called as PIVD i.e PROLAPSE OF THE PROTECTIVE DISC FROM IN BETWEEN THE 2 VERTEBRAL BONES,these discs works as a protective cushion and their prolapse from their place causes compression of spinal nerves and spasm of the surrounding muscles which in turn lead to pain n at times numbness in that region your xray was normal but its common not being able to diagnose this condition from a xray so you should get a much more specific investigation to diagnose your conditiopn i.e MRI OF LOWER SPINE n then you can consult a orthopedician with your MRI REPORT who will prescribe you the appropriate treatment for your condition regards hcm
