How Should Sudden Episodes Of Seizures, Violent Tremors With Foaming At The Mouth Be Diagnosed And Treated?
Great grandson has had two seizures within 3 hour of each other/ Taken to hospital by ambulance both times. Both with violent shaking, with like foaming in the mouth and real shallow breathing. Thought he was dead, but then saw movement. Total weakness or out of it. Sent home from hospital after first seeming okay, three hours later while just sitting and watching TV, the other.
You need to consult a pediatric neurologist to know the exact cause. You need to do a brain CT, regular lab test, serum electrolytes, lumbar puncture and EEG as needed.
