I had an ultrasound today. My last menstrual cycle was around the end of April/beginning of May. However, the dr did not see a baby in the sac today. How likely is it that the ultrasound was done too early and that my ultrasound next week will have more to show?
Ultrasound(preferably trans vaginal USG scan) can detect G-sac earliest. Non visualization of G-sac may be due to many reasons like early scan, excess maternal fat etc. You are rightly advised for USG after 10 days.It can detect G-sac if ovum is fertilized. So,you should wait till next scan.
