How Soon Can I Have Fitness Training Post Treatment For Chikungunya?
Hi! I m a 28 yr old female, just had chikungunya acute phase like 3 weeks ago. By now I m feeling so much better, except for some joints and tendon pains.. And weakness. But I m really worried about my Martial Arts and Pole Fitness training, I m a new competition athlete. Pls! When Can I go back to train? At least soft moves (like Jiu-jitsu techniquea)? Please help! For how much time does someone has to rest of excercising? - Thanks a lot! -
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. It is good to note that you are recovering from Chikungunya fever. Hope you have taken the medications properly. It takes anywhere between 3 weeks to 6 weeks for complete recovery from the illness. Better to avoid strenuous activities for 3 weeks and slowly can resume one by one. Wish you speedy recovery and good health.
