How Soon Can Permanent Dentures Be Put After Tooth Extraction?

I just had my teeth pulled and immediate dentures put in. I have had them adjusted several times. The dentist said I can t have posts put in to have them snapped in for a 6 month wait. How long do I really need to wait to have them put in per.enently.?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From what you are inquiring about, it typically takes 3-6 months before the posts can be put in. This is the minimum time period required for the gums to heal and to take a final shape.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
