How Soon Should A Person With Gallbladder Stones Contact ER?
Hi, I have a large number of gallstones. I m meeting with a surgeon tomorrow to discuss my option, but Saturday night I had a severe gallbladder attack and vomited at least 3 times maybe 4. After that my symptoms of discomfort and slight pain I my right side haven t gone away. Tonight I m nauseated again, have heartburn, and some slight pain and pressure. I also have a low grade fever of 99.4. do I need to go to the ER? Or can I wait until I see my surgeon tomorrow? At what point would you recommend that go to the ER?
You can wait to meet your doctor tomorrow, but this could either be an issue with an obstructed gall stone or even due to ingestion of fatty or oily food that could have triggered your symptoms. It appears you will have to be schedule for surgery at the earliest.
Best wishes
