How To Alleviate Dizziness And Fatigue Caused After A Hysterectomy?

Due to complications, I had to have a hysterectomy two years ago. I have been finding it difficult to concentrate and stay productive, which has caused the development of complications in the home with my family. I have lower abdominal pain, but have not gone to a doctor yet. I am tired all the time, lack energy, and find it very difficult to concentrate. At times I have sensed light flashes appearing in my peripheral vision. I ve experienced dizziness, and have fainted a couple of times during the day. There are episodes of depression, and at times, uncontrollable crying. What is wrong with me? Is this going to last forever?!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Do not be panic and step by step investigations can be done. For lower abdomen pain, USG (Ultrasonography) pelvis scan is advisable as problem is since many days.

Secondly, for dizziness and affected vision, funduscopic eye examination should be done. Otological evaluation can also be beneficial.

If central vertigo suspected than MRI scan might needs to be done. According to cause, specific treatment can be given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
