How To Assess The Brain Capacity Of A Person Who Is Rescued From Committing Suicide?
My brother in law tried to commit suicide. He was found barely breathing and unconscious. He does not wish to live in a vegetative state. What questions do we need to ask the doctors to find this out? I am a veterinarian, so I know we in medicine are taught to speak in broad terms. What statistics do I need to ask about in order to accurately tell if he will have enough brain capacity left to live a normal life?
A psychologist is good. Even then, you can give him emotional strength. Good memories can be reminded, soothing music and healthy friendly atmosphere needs to be created. He must do 'Art of Living', OMBW or happiness course have seen similar history patient get totally recovered after this course.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
