Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We are in the process of moving to a new house and are considering whether or not to install carpeting. We would like to start having children soon and are getting mixed advice on whether carpet is good or bad. Some say it promotes allergies in babies. Others say having an environment that is too antiseptic promotes allergies in babies. Meanwhile, we also have a Siberian husky who sheds all year round, so we will likely have the Roomba going throughout the house regularly now that we re thinking about having children. I m hoping that will help keep the hair and pet dander under control. Plus regular house cleaning. Thoughts?
