Hello, I am currently 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant and I am bleeding. I went into the ER a few days ago for this very reason and my baby had a heart beat at 6 weeks and 3 days but I was told it was kind of slow but anyway I have been bleeding the same amount of blood. I have yet to soak through a pad but I am bleeding I don t have any pain, cramps, or fever. I was labeled as a threatened miscarriage in the ER. Is it common for women to bleed? Also, the blood smells funny..
hi, thanks for using health care magic.. I understand your concern..Minimal bleeding at and around 4 weeks is considered normal.. But bleeding at 7 weeks is considered as threatened abortion.. You need to take adequate rest.. Does the scan says any subchorionic hemorrhage? Intake of progesterone tablet helps to maintain pregnancy to an extent. Repeat scan after 2 weeks to see for fetal growth and cardiac activity. Some doctors prefer to give progesterone injection. Hope i have answered your queries. Consult your doc for a check up and advice.. Good day
