Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.
I have gone through your question and I understand your concern.
There are multiple reasons for irregular menstrual cycle and
PCOs (
polycystic ovaries) is the most common among them.
PCOs has multiple symptoms like
*irregur menstural cycle.
*acne
*hirsutism
*Loss of hair from scalp
* difficulty in getting pregnant.
If I were your treating physician I would like to get a pelvic
ultrasound to rule out PCOs. If PCOs are present they are treated by few months course of hormones which regulates the menstrual cycle thus increasing chances of
pregnancy.
As for determination of ovulation days, it is very difficult in case of irregular menstrual cycle. It can be done with Follicular tracking ultrasound to calculate the fertile days.
I would recommend you consult your local gynecologist for detailed clinical evaluation, diagnostic tests and further treatment accordingly.
I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.
