How do I get Hydrogen Peroxide out of my ear? I was having ear pain recently and then the next day, I had started hearing things lower pitched in the affected ear. Then I put hydrogen peroxide in my ear for the first time because my mom had suggested it and I decided to do it multiple times. My ear feels full and it's really hard to hear things out of this ear. Sounds don't sound lower pitched and there's no pain anymore, now it's just hard to hear people talk and it sounds like I'm covering my ear when I talk but I'm not.
You may have developed a swelling of the lining of your ear canal due to the peroxide or the wax mush have swollen up. You will have to meet your doctor to confirm this. The wax can easily be removed but the swelling of the skin may take time to resolve and you may need steroid drops/pack for it. Please meet your doctor. Thanks
