Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am a 51 year old male. recently i was bitten by a dog who was not rabid. however. being the hypochondriac. i am i began doing research on the disease. and found out about bats. recently i awoke with what i would call a blood blister on the back of my hand. however on the far right side of it was a very small black dot. and another on the left perhaps a 1/2 cm away. that i first took for scabbing. i have never seen any bats around my house or in it. but i was wondering if it could possibly be a bat bite.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that this what your apprehensive nature might be playing the role behind this in fact that is not the case as your are thinking in my stop your research work here otherwise you would be more panic, take care and have a nice day.
