i had a posative pregnancy test 2 weeks ago. Was testing before that and all came up negative. The doctor went by my last period and said i was 8 weeks, but i have brown staining so i got an internal scan and the doctor couldnt see a sac or fetus. Could i just be too early on to see any thing or does this mean its a miscarriage or ectopic? I feel fine every other way. Very worried please help.
Since you had a positive pregnancy test two weeks ago and tests before that were negative you are now 6 weeks pregnant.
At six weeks pregnancy the doctor must see a baby sac on ultrasound. There are two possibilities now. It could be a early miscarraige or ectopic pregnancy.
If I were your doctor I would ask for a blood test of quantitative beta HCG level now and repeat it after 48 hours. Comparing the two results would help us in understanding what is happening with the pregnancy. So please consult your doctor and do this test. If you have any further queries I shall be more than happy to answer them
