How To Confirm If Abortion Was Successful?

Hi ,my wife last period was on 24/04 and she missed her periodin may, she has undergone urine test for pergnancy and result was positive and with the advice of a medical shop owner ,i have given her only kit of zitotec 200 having 4 tablets , on 26/05 morning she took one tablet orally and one tablet was inserted inside and by evening 4 o clock it starts bleeding and she took 2nd tablet at night and 3rd tablet on next day morning ,and her bleeding stopped on next day morning ,that means bleeding happened only for half day and that to only a normal flow but not heavy bleeding ,now our doubt was that abortion was sucess to her or not ? pls advice us

The abortion may have not been successful. For this reason, I would recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound. D and C procedure may be needed.
