General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your query.
You had sex twice in March, & had given unwanted 72 to your girl friend both the times.
Unwanted 72 is a high dose hormone preparation, that acts by postponing ovulation & thus avoids pregnancy.
Due to its action it tends to delay normal date of menses by about 8 days.Again you had repeated the pill twice a month making her exposed to large dose of hormones in a month.
* The pills will prevent pregnancy, but the excessive dose is likely to disturb her menstrual cycle.
Unwanted 72 is to be used only as an emergency, for routine use oral monthly pills are better.
thanks.
