How To Control Constipation And Pain And Swelling In Eyes After Taking Atorvastatin?
I am taking Atorvastatin- 80 mg as been prescribed. and as such , besides constipation my both eyes are painful and got swollen since 2 weeks. And I have stopped taking the medicine. Would you please suggest how to reduce this pain and my swollen eyes. Please advise and prescribe medication for this problem.Thanks.

Hello.Usually,side effects that you refers disappear when you stop the intake of the drug. If adverse effects persist, your doctor may prescribe some laxative and some eye drops. Also remind you that your doctor should replace Atorvastatin by other effective drug for cholesterol for example Ezetimibe.
