How To Control Cry Of Infants After Bcg Injection?

My twin grandchildren got their bcg injections 2 days ago. They were both very unsettled and crying a lot 24 hours later and the little boy is still the same tonight. His mam is concerned as before this he was feeding then sleeping till the next feed, could the injection have caused this and what can she do to help him

generally bcg causes mild fever and body ache for 1 to 2 days and needs no medicines, as the fever resolves on its own. the cry should settle down in the next day. keep breast feeding and if there is fever calpol drops just to relive the pain
