How To Control Diabetes?

My father 75 yrs & diebetic for last 18 yrs.For last 1 yr he is getting treatment for dieabetis.For last 6 months his sugar levels ,urea & creatinine levels are under control but in this week except suger his urea & creatinine level got shoot up. Please guide us to control this.

Dear user, if his creatinine is rising, please check his urine for microalbuminurea, urine albumin creatinine ratio. if it is setting in of diabetic nephropathy, put him on insulin, take off all renal toxic drugs and maintain good glycemic control. regards!
