How To Control High BP?
My mother is diabetic from past 25 years. Now she is having multiple problems including CRF, cerebral atrophy, facial stroke , thrombosis etc. from two days she is given injectables of decadron. From two days her bp is not normal it is on higher side. She was also given clexane injection. Do u think bp rise is because of decadron. For how long decadron should be given. She was suffering severe headache as well.

yes decadron can cause an increase in BP..
injectible decadron is not used for a very long duration
exact usage time depends on the reason for taking it..
if the rise in BP is very high then another antihypertensive drug can be added for temporary use..
