How To Control Involuntary Movements In Shoulders And Hands?

Hi my mom is 77yrs old she have uncontrollable movements in her shoulders and hands her Dr.Neurogolist Say it scalled Chorea what can you suggest for her to take instead of medications? 1 makes her drowsy, 2nd did nothing for her 3rd she looks zombie daysed out 4th is called (clonazepam) which was just prescribed and waiting to be filled.

Unfortunately, this is hard to control and many of the other available treatments also have some side effects. I would discuss with your Neurologist to see if you can take lesser doses that at least keep her functional and not so drowsy. Please visit with your Neurologist and suggest changing to another drug.
