Hi.Doctor, My name is Tina, my husband eating pan masala which is tabaco.always I m telling him donot eat this tabaco pan masala but he not listen. he is telling me if I not eat this masala he getting some gastic problem and burning his cheast.so i want to knoe how I can stop his this habbit?
He is actually suffering from a behavioral problem which is actually going to be difficult to treat unless he is willing to quit the habit or receive treatment from a professional. On your home, it will be hard to let him get rid of the habit and the harder you try, the more he would seem to want to consume the tobacco. I suggest you try finding out if he himself is willing to quit the habit, then seek a nearby professional to assist with this. Unless that is done, I am afraid you would not be able to stop the habit because as time goes on, he would become more and more addicted. As for the gastric problems, there are some medications that will help relief the burning pain in his chest.
Hope this helps
