Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a history of PVC s , had 4 ablations, been on tambacor, rhythmol, tenormin, you name it. I can t seem to stop the PVC s. they are especially noticeable within 2-4 minutes at rest following mild to moderate activity. My EP just started me on sotalol 80mg bid. I have no structural damage. I am at home on this med and just took my first dose about 4 hrs ago. Is it safe to begin this at home? And is this a better choice than the flecainide and rhythmol?
Hallo...very unfortunate that after 4ablation u have same problem ...but it happens ... limitations of medical science...only way to do it through medication now...sotalol is good option and I hope it will work well...
