I am 17 weeks pregnant and have been suffering from a dry cough for the last 4 weeks. I haven't been ill during my pregnancy and I've rarely suffered from a cough in my life. I've been to the doctors and they have given my an inhaler (100 micrograms salbutamol sulphate) but this hasn't helped with my coughing. Have you got any suggestions on how to cure this cough and what may be causing it please? Thank you
Hi , Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum . Your clinical history is suggestive of post nasal discharge causing dry cough . If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Steam Inhalation , Saline nasal spray thrice daily & plenty of fluid . Hope this information helpful to you, take care and have a nice day. Thanks.
