How To Cure A Hard Spot Risen On Gum After Retrieval Of Wisdom Tooth?
Hello I have what feels like a hard spot that came outta the back right bottom of my gum. I thought it was a missing part of a tooth that recently got extracted(wisdom tooth) a month ago. It swells up around this hard substance? Dentist can shave it down a bit when I seen him but wasn t sure what it was? It is hard. What could this be?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The hard spot at the extracted site can be a fibrosed gums secondary to irritation from the opposing tooth or it can be a left out tooth piece. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to take radiograph like OPG to confirm the diagnosis. If it is just a fibrosed gums, it can be surgically removed. If it is a remnant tooth structure, then it has to be extracted. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
