Hi welcome to healthcare magic
First of all there is no cure for acne and they could only be prevented
You should note that acne appears between the age of 15 to 30 years after that acne disappears for ever
So you need to take regular treatment when ever a single acne appears
For female with acne and excess facial hairs there is a chance that she have cysts in overy known as polysystic
ovarian disease (PCOS)
In PCOS there is excessive growth of body hairs, acne are frequent and larger than normal , there is associated menstrual irregularities and
pelvic pain.
To diagnose PCOS you need to get hormone profile testing done on second to forth day of cycle and USG pelvis on tenth to twelfth day of cycle
Treatment for acne - if you come to my clinic than I would suggest -
1If PCOS - get treatment from a gynecologist
2. Adapalin and
benzoyl peroxide gel at night
3. Antibiotics like doxycycline or azithromycine pulse depending upon severity for 3 months
4. Oral Isotertinoin - If you have
nodulocystic acne or there is scaring over face due to acne.
Isotretinoin is given for approximately one year and dose depends on body weight
Before staring isotretinoin liver function test and fasting
lipid profile testing is mandatory
This drug is not given to females who cuold get pregnent and if a married women is taking than
contraception is must for 2 years
Best wishes for you
Thankyou
