A bite by an insect or arthropod can cause a lot of discomfort and pain. The skin may turn red and swell or in severe cases may blister and turn necrotic / scab.
I suggest you use a potent topic like a steroid e.g. Clobetasol Propionate or Betamethasone Valerate type, twice daily for a few days. In addition to that, I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g. Cetirizine tablet once a day for a few days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
