How To Cure Chemical Burn On The Eyelid After Waxing?

Hello, I had my eyebrows waxed today and the technician went to low on my eyelids resulting in an adverse reaction - either I have a slight chemical burn or some of the skin was removed (but I had no bleeding). I am curious about what I can use on it topically. I have some erythromycin ointment, would that be better than just plain old petroleum jelly to soothe it?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the skin over the eyelid is too delicate and thin enough to get torn off due to traumatic injury..
So it seems more to be removed skin from the area of eyelid and not allergic reaction..
I would suggest you to apply Erythromycin ointment as it is antibiotic in nature as well as you can do cool compresses..
Avoid repeated touching of the area to prevent infection..
