How To Cure Chronic Ear Infection?

I have a 29 month old with chronic ear infections. I caught him with a q tip. He didn t have it in when I saw him but now right is releasing bloody discharge. What would happen if he ruptured ear drum? Would the tube get pushed out of place? If so, how bad is that? He not complaining of pain.

Blood discharge from the ear either may be due to the injury of ear canal wall or ear drum.
To rule out any possibility, better to go for the otoscopic examination of the ear.
