Hi - for the past couple of years (I never suffered before then) after sex I have suffer really bad period cramp pains which makes me feel sick (and the majority of the time I am sick with it). It starts off gradually, the pain becoming more and more intense and then after 15 minutes it disappears. I have been to the doctors a few times but have been fobbed off really, and have been too nervous to go back. Nothing seems to stop it and has made me become frightened to have sex now. I wonder if you could help?
it appears a case of dysparenuia a painful sexual intercourse. there is no specific cause for this condition as it can occur to any one, most common in women. I suggest a gyneological consultation as it is imp to rule it any infective cause or any hormonal imbalance. In addition I suggest changing to different sexual position with minimal penetration and use of proper lubrication will help. in most cases the pain is known to subside automatically without any intervention, however it still warrants consultation first a gynaecologist opinion and then sexologist for healthy sexual ways.
welcome for further consultations. thank you
