How To Cure Ear Pain Due To Air Pressure?

hi doc. My self neelam,is sufferring from a problem in ear .according to docs it s a prob. Regarding air pressure .they suggested me to take ambroxol hydrochloride sr,hifenac-p and allercet dc.. I m suffering from almost 2 months.i want to ask that m i taking the right med.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ear pain due to air pressure which seems to be due to Eustachian tube dysfunction leading to creation of negative pressure inside ear. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Avoid pricking it with sharp object. You should put antibiotic drops and canesten drops in ear. Keep ears covered while taking bath, flying and swimming. Take combination of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Go for ear examination completely and check if any audiometery tests required. Doctor may order blood test , CT scan , MRI or hearing test like audiogram.
