Hi,I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Till now ,I would say you for not to worry much.It sometimes happens to young children.
If I were the treating physician,I would look for the answers of the following queries:
>How many times does your baby pass stool in a day?
>Is there any signs of
dehydration like thirst, sunken eyes, depressed fontanelle etc?
>Blood and/or mucus in stool?
>Fever?
If the above queries are found normal,I would advise you breastfeed only.If frequent
loose motion occurs, you may give oral rehydration saline (
ORS) according to weight along with frequent
breastfeeding.
If any signs of dehydration,
blood in stool or fever develops, then please meet your local doctor.
Hope this helps.
Wish your baby good health.
