How To Cure Lump Under Skin, Skin Discoloration After Treated For Ringworm?

I recently had ringworm and treated it with lamasil for 1.5 weeks. The rash appears to have gone away however, there is a lump under the skin and a slight discoloration of the skin where the ringworm was. *Note the ringworm was infected on a previously scratched open insect bite.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed furuncles.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Bacteria would have gained entry through the scratch wound.

Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
