How To Cure Pain In Shoulder Due To Non Displaced Fracture?
5 weeks ago I crashed my bike and have a grade 2 separation of my left shoulder and have a non displaced fracture of my 2nd rib. Shoulder is healing well but, I still have pain along the vertebral border of my left scapula when I take a deep breath, sneeze or cough. x-ray look fine no pneumothorax. What could causing this pain?
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that 5 Weeks ago you got dislocation of shoulder joint with fracture of your 2 rib. Now you had pain slong vertibral border of scapula. You have got your x ray. There is no pneumothorax. I think pain is at fracture site as healed fractures are not solid. In my opinion it may remain painful up to nearly 4 months. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for it. You can Discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.,if you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
