How To Cure Pain While Passing Motion With Diabetes?
My mother is 87 years old and she is having awful pains when she wants to go for number 2 (poop) very very painful, anything she eats, she eats very little now she is afraid but she is a diabetic on insulin. She is suffering a lot we had done EGD CT with contrast Ct scan with no contrast nothing was found but yet this women suffers a lot. Ultrasound of the belly. We were going to do the test with the capsule that you swallow but did not at this time. thank you.
I understand your concern and I'm sorry to hear about this. It seems like an anal fissure is the cause of pain for your mother. This is a small tear in the moist inner lining of the anus. Diabetics do have a predisposition to anal fissures. I would recommend you put your mother on a more liquid diet with plenty of fiber, like fruit and vegetable to soften the stools and reduce the pain on defecation. Applying a diaper rash cream or moisturizer on the problem areas multiple times per day. as well as keeping the area dry should bring her relief.
All the best.
