my husband has road rash that is healing. ihis skin on his arm now looks pink with brown flecks in it. It looks like he has some form of vitaligo. The skin is smooth but very soft because the harder protective layeer is still trying to come back completely. Well yesterday we were at a cousins bbq in the rural parts of NC. His cousins back yard is very wooded with a lot of insects and spiders. We think my husband must have gotten bit by something because now he has a blister on his road rash arm and the blister is the size of two quarters. His skin under the blister is red and the blister is full of blood. I feel like this is a step backward in his healing process because the rest of the road rash arm is pink except for this awful blister. What should we do?
Is this blister because of some sort of insect bite?
Should a blister look like that because the skin and melanin hasn't completely come back to normal?
My husband says it doesn't hurt but I don't know if we should see some type of skin doctor.
