How To Cure Swollen Hemorrhoids?

Hi, i think i have hemorrhoids but not sure if they are internal or external as im aware internal can hang out from the anus. i have no pain or bleeding and just want the swelling to go away. ive tried over the counter stuff but to no avail. any ideas?

increase fiber and water to diet and avoid straining for bowel movements, avoid being constipated. limit toilet time to 3-5 minutes. hemorrhoid cream will help for symptoms, ice your bottom 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. sitz bath (warm salt water 4-6 inches in bath tub and stick bottom in it) 2-3 times per day. consider seeking attention of surgeon for hemorrhoid banding if persists.
