How To Cure Temple Ache And A Headache After An Injury A Day Before?
Yesterday I was leaning sideways to pick something up in a hurry and hit my right temple pretty solid on the corner of my bathroom counter. This was about 24 hours ago. Today, I developed a headache. I originally thought it was a sinus head ache, because I get those a lot with the weather change. But now it just feels as though my temple (where I bumped it) Is aching. Any advice.

The indications for CT scan after a head injury are: (1) headache
(2)vomiting
(3)seizures after injury
(4)age older than 60 yrs
(5)drug or alcohol abuse
(6)loss of short term memory
(7)visible trauma above the clavicle
In the absence of any of the above, imaging is not needed.
The pain is related to the trauma that the muscles and bone in the area would have sustained.
You can consider the use of an anti inflammatory pain killer if you have no previous interactions with them. Examples are : ibuprofen, cataflam, voltaren, naproxen, celebrex, aspirin
These should be used on a full stomach.
