How To Cure Tingling Sensation Behind The Left Ear After An Injury?

im a 16 year old female and when i was playing volley ball i hit the ball and i felt a snap in the back of my head behind my left ear. It was like a airhead snapping and then followed by a sensation of warm water flowing down my head even though i was not wet at all. this has happened two more times and i told my mother but she really has no clue and doesn t feel its necessary to take me to the doctor. I really would like to know what this is. There is no pain with it, but a strange tingling sensation afterward.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury.
I recommend to use anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen 3 times a day.
I also recommend to use cold compresses for a local application.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
