How To Cure Vaginal Infection?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have had vaginal infections for the past 5 months. I have used candizole v over such period after consulting my gynae. The infection re-occurs every two to three days. I have treated it with the insertion of the applicators over a week but after a few days it is back. I now merely apply a small layer on the outside area surrounding the entrance of the vagina. Will this have any effect on my unborn baby or on me later in life.
