Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I understand that you are concerned about sister's recent behavioural changes. You have mentioned that she is having abnormal fear that someone is going to kill her father. This may be suggestive of a delusion. You have also said that she claims to be seeing non-existent black images. This may be suggestive of a hallucination.

Delusions and hallucinations are indicative of a a mental illness called psychosis. So, it is likely that your sister has developed a psychotic disorder. She needs a psychiatric consultation for a detailed evaluation and further treatment. Don't worry, effective treatment is available with anti-psychotic medication which can control her symptoms. So, please take her to a psychiatrist as early as possible.

Wish you all the best.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Please do not over read into these symptoms. She is a teenager, or entering teen age period. Personal security concerns are paramount at this developmental period. Also teenagers learn the truths and inevitable of life and they also understand the future is uncertain. This symptom could just be an outcome of awareness and should be short lived.

If need be, you can take her to a psychological counselor. A good counseling session should cure the present problem.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
